Welcome Host
I am currently looking for temporary Welcome Hosts to join our team in South Kensington/white city and Hammersmith.
The candidate will need to work in different locations.
The role is to be responsible for front of house visitor entrances and concierge care across all locations, The role is providing a warm welcome and high level of service to visitors, staff, and students, alongside maintaining an inviting and well-presented entrance and reception area. Focussing on the delivery of a 5 Star service is essential, providing a warm welcome and a high level of customer care to visitors, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities

The Welcome Host to Provide a flexible and adaptable hosted concierge style reception service, proactively greeting and receiving visitors into key sites across multiple campuses.

Assist with any enquiries, providing helpful information and directions and referring specific enquiries to the relevant staff, where appropriate

Greet visitors on arrival, determining the nature and purpose of the visit and ensuring visitors are logged into the building in the correct manner and receive an appropriate visitor pass (where applicable) on arrival. Other service touches such as offering refreshments should also be provided.

Deal with car parking requests at relevant buildings in the required time frames and if spaces are available and providing clear communication to the guest.

Take telephone calls and handle enquiries

Support the Post Room team in re-directing the delivery of parcels and packages ensuring the reception areas remain accessible to visitors, and free from clutter.

Maintaining and updating building postal pigeon-holes and updating departmental and group mail lists accordingly

Help with training, refreshing, and inducting new and existing colleagues at each reception.

Responsible for the daily collection/drop-off of reception keys, where applicable.

Updating of the reception directory and procedures.

Support the Events Team and PA’s with room bookings, as required, and to liaise with relevant parties to ensure the delivery of a professional service and to meet client expectations.

Support the Events Team in ensuring catering and refreshments in meeting rooms are replenished or cleared away to ensure a seamless and efficient service
