HSE Manager vacancy with a growing assembly-based manufacturer in Leeds. With continued year on year growth the business is looking to grow their management team with the introduction of a dedicated HSE Manager position to support further plans for 2024 and beyond.

My client is a hugely successful Leeds based manufacturer who supply an exceptional range of engineered products to a large customer base, both across the UK and internationally.
Having experienced impressive growth in recent years, they are now looking to expand their manufacturing leadership team with the introduction of a HSE Manager role.
Description
The HSE Manager will report directly into the Operations Manager and will have overall responsibility for all HSE activities on site.
The main priorities of this role are:
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, upholding the company's various accreditations including ISO14001 and 45001
Promoting and supporting continuous improvements and company best practice
Positively driving behaviours to ensure employee engagement in all HSE activities
Providing strategic direction and guidance to the board and operational colleagues to ensure the company achieves its HSE mission and objectives
Support the HSEQ team during external audits with customers and approval bodies
Profile
Successful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability in improving HSE behaviours. You will also possess:
Strong communication skills at all levels of the business
A data-driven and continuous improvement mindset
An innovative and customer focussed approach
The ability to influence employee behaviours, as well as update processes and procedures
NEBOSH qualification or similar would be advantageousJob Offer
