Hours: You will do Perm PM shifts : Tuesday to Friday from 14:45 to 23:00 // Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00 or you will do Perm AM shifts: 05:30 to 15:00 Monday to Friday.

Overview:
Everest People Solutions is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join a dynamic production team. This role involves overseeing production operatives and ensuring that the production process meets both customer requirements and safety targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of 20-25 operatives, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and cost-effectively. We are looking for Team Leaders, Line Leaders, Area Controllers and experienced Supervisors from a food production environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor:
- Supervise a shift of production operators, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators including line rates, quality, and yield. Implement ideas to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Ensure all staff are fully trained according to task procedures and individual needs. Engage and motivate the team through regular mentoring and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the setup and operation of production lines, ensuring products meet customer specifications and production targets.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and all relevant safety standards. Report and address any non-conformances promptly.
- Review and improve line performance, implement new initiatives, and minimize downtime.
- Work with cross-functional teams including QA, Production Managers, and other Supervisors to ensure smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements for the Production Supervisor:
- Proven experience in a team leader, line leader, supervisor role within a food production environment is essential.
- Experience in the food production industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills - training will be given.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in IT, including the use of production management software.
- Knowledge of HACCP and GMP principles is desirable.
- Certification in Health and Safety is desirable
