Brook Street Recruitment are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant for the Residential and Commercial Property Team.
Main Responsibilities:
To support the Residential and Commercial Property teams by providing efficient conveyancing assistance, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Key Duties:
File Management:
Open new client files, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
Prepare and send out detailed quotes for services, tailored to client needs.
Follow up on sent quotes to convert leads into clients and obtain feedback for improvement.
Title Document Review:
Review completed registration title documents meticulously to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Report to clients and lenders upon completion of registration, providing all necessary documents and information.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Provide regular updates to clients, estate agents, and other solicitors on the progress of property transactions.
Manage incoming post, ensuring it is correctly tied to client files and promptly addressed by the appropriate fee earner.
Administrative Support:
Assist fee earners with tasks as needed, dealing with queries and agreeing on actions to maintain work flow.
Undertake any additional duties as reasonably requested to support the team.
