Our client is seeking a motivated, professional, and committed Claims Handler to join their expanding commercial property insurance team based in Bournemouth.
As a Claims Handler, you'll play a pivotal role in resolving claims by liaising with insurers and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
Main Responsibilities:

Manage all claim enquiries from initial notification to settlement via phone and email.

Keep clients informed about claim progress and relevant discussions.

Ensure client satisfaction by regularly updating them on claim status.

Provide technical advice to clients during the claim process (training provided).

Effectively manage client expectations with empathy and professionalism.

Stay updated on market trends, insurance regulations, and technical knowledge.

Maintain accurate claim records and update the system accordingly.

Demonstrate superb administrative skills and a focus on career development.

Inform insurers and stakeholders of any additional claim-related information.
You will require the following skills/experience to be successful as a Claims Handler:

Cert CII/Dip CII qualification preferred, along with GCSE level education or equivalent.

Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in commercial/property.

Prior claims handling experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Strong customer service orientation, planning, and analytical skills.

Ability to identify potential risks and seek guidance when necessary.

Familiarity with FCA regulations such as GDPR/Consumer Duty.

Proficiency in MS Office/Excel.
