Bright Selection is delighted to be working with a leading dementia care provider in the appointment of Deputy Manager for one of their highly regarded care homes in the Kettering area.
As a Deputy Manager, you will work at least 2 shifts per week on the floor leading the team and the rest of your time will be spent working with the Registered Home Manager supporting the day to day management of the home, ensuring the effective success of the home, including promoting the home within the local community. You will be required to take responsibility for the running of the Home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification or above
Previous leadership experience in a care home or similar environment
Familiarity and prior experience in care planning
Strong knowledge of CQC Standards for care homes
Experience working with dementia
Strong organisational Skills
Responsibilities include:
Arrange, attend, and participate in staff and residents' meetings as and when required
Oversee and ensure record keeping within the home meets all standards and guidance.
To assist the Registered Manager with the recruitment, appointment, and deployment of all staff
Manage and supervise the team of care assistants
Carry out training sessions as required
Salary:
c£35,000pa neg DOE
full time 40hrs per week
