HR ADVISOR
We have an exciting opportunity to join a large automotive supplier based in the Coleshill area who are seeking a HR Advisor to join their expanding HR department. As a HR Advisor, you will play an integral part in employee engagement, relations and recruitment supporting our HR Manager with a range of new incentives and programme introduction in the coming months ahead.
Main Purpose of the Position:

Provide coaching, guidance, advice and support regarding a range of human resource policies and procedures to business leaders to include:-

Employee recruitment and retention,

Evaluating employee performance
-
Maintaining employee relations.

Absence Management
-
Respond to and act as first point of call for all daily HR related queries
-
To support HR Business partner and client groups to ensure alignment between business operations and the HR vision and strategy.
Core Duties:
-
Partner with assigned client groups to develop effective working relationships ensuring HR delivers a value-added service in line with the organisations broader vision and objectives

Support and coordinate projects, change programmes and associated strategic initiatives

Provide coaching, guidance, advice and support regarding a range of human resource policies and procedures to business leaders to include but not limited to recruitment and retention, performance, maintaining employee relations, Absence Management.

Responsible for ER case load ensuring cases are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner.

Support and coach Leaders regarding the interpretation of company policies and procedures

Ensure performance management issues are identified and addressed through advice and coaching to line managers

Provide effective resourcing and recruitment solutions in partnership with agreed service level timescales.

Be an active member of the HR team, contributing to achievement of departmental and business goals through Policy Deployment Development Review (PDPR) involvement and deployment. This may involve leading a project that will influence strategy objectives.

Assist in the collation of data and metrics to drive key business decisions.
What we need from you:

Full generalist HR background is essential with proven experience of dealing with employee relation issues.

Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management and strong decision-making skills
-
Experience of working in a fast paced, manufacturing environment is desirable along with experience of working with Trade Unions.

Excellent employment law knowledge

Strong relationship management and consulting skills

Ability to challenge, negotiate and influence

Ideally part CIPD qualified
-
Fully competent with PC and HR data systems literate
-
Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential
