Business Support Officer - Social Care

Job Role
To be responsible for the delivery of services within a Family Hub Locality, to provide a coherent approach to the delivery of early help services across the Local Authority.
To provide a comprehensive range of high quality administrative support within the Directorate including arranging meetings, minute taking (including safeguarding minutes), typing, faxing, scanning and photocopying.
To administer a range of meetings, case meetings/groups and events - checking relevant officer availability, booking rooms, sending invitations, prepare and circulate agendas and papers, provide and circulate minutes and monitor follow up actions as necessary.
To regularly input, extract and monitor data/information within the relevant IT systems to ensure that records are up to date and accurate.
To assist the team in the compilation, co-ordination, collation and distribution of management data for the purposes of regular and ad-hoc reporting on all areas of the Business.
To efficiently & accurately sort and log all incoming mail, (both internal and external) including scanning and distribution, in accordance with procedures.
Assist in the chasing, progression and monitoring of correspondence, complaints/member's enquiries and other queries to ensure all targets are met.
On behalf of Service, receive personal visitors and telephone callers, take messages in an efficient manner and redirect calls to the appropriate officer where necessary.
Research and prepare information, presentation/training materials and resources to support service activities, events, seminars and conferences
