Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's Residential
Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Duties:
Responsibly manage daily operations of a children's residential home
Oversee and ensure high-quality care is provided to children and young people
Lead and support a team of staff, providing guidance and direction
Create and implement care plans that adhere to regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
Required Qualifications:
Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Registered with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Ofsted)
Proven experience in a similar managerial role within children's residential care
Experience with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
At least 3 years of experience in a senior role within children's residential care
Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong organisational and decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in safeguarding, risk assessment, and therapeutic approaches
Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
Working Conditions:
Regular office hours with occasional evening and weekend work required
Work primarily based within the children's residential home setting
May involve some travel for meetings, training, or networking events
