Position: Construction / Installation Manager - Lift Modernisation and Field Replacement Projects

A leading company is seeking a dynamic Construction Manager to oversee Lift Modernisation and Field Replacement projects throughout Scotland. This role involves managing project scope, schedule, and budget, and serving as the primary liaison for customers and stakeholders. The focus is on ensuring customer satisfaction and optimizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee Lift Modernisation and Field Replacement projects from sales/installation hand-over to customer handover and Maintenance.
Project Initiation and Review: Ensure successful project start-up, conduct project reviews, and manage project reporting and facilitation.
Site Preparation: Handle site preparations, storage, logistics, and necessary resources and tools.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the installation team, including subcontractors. Plan and ensure adequate project resourcing and competencies, and motivate site operatives.
Customer Communication: Manage proactive communication with customers throughout the project, ensuring professional stakeholder management.
Financial Oversight: Handle project financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management, and revenue management, including capitalizing on change order opportunities.
Safety and Security: Promote and maintain safety and security awareness among employees and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
Skills and Experience:
Proven people management and leadership abilities.
Strong organizational skills.
Customer-focused mindset.
Expertise in financial project planning and cost control.
Experience in the lift industry is advantageous but not mandatory; applications from the engineering or construction sectors are welcome.
Excellent health and safety knowledge.
Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS card.
Valid driving license.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
