Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional forward thinking local Oldbury based organisation, who are seeking an IT Project Manager to join their successful IT Team.
Duties and tasks will include:
» Successfully meet agreed targets
» Manage the design, development, and support of systems to business requirements, specification standards and quality » Manage the internal department team and external partners/suppliers
» Produce documentation to the required standards and quality
» Support the use of ISO27002 in system development and installation.
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
» The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3-4 years in the manufacturing industry
» Have a proven track record of managing projects and supporting IT systems implementations
» Have excellent experience and working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Exel and SAP), manufacturing systems, Business intelligence systems, and SQL Database knowledge
» Knowledge of emerging technologies, AI and Cloud services
» Have a professional project management qualification (Agile, PMP or Prince2)
» Demonstrate project management of systems and change management successes, identifying risk, issues and dependencies and implement processes to minimise project disruptions » Be well organised, self-motivated, professional, and able to work under pressure
» Be responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as managing a team including developing plans, schedules and resource allocations » Be able to communicate, influence and engage software and technical engineers and users at all levels including Executive management team
» Must be eligible and able to prove that you can work in the UK, as the Company does not hold a sponsorship licence.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm.
