Job Title: Project Manager - Water Projects
Location: Thames Valley Area
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Hours of Work: 40 per week
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Start Date: Immediate (flexible for notice periods)
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in water projects or utility work to join our team in the Thames Valley region.
Duties of a Project Manager:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the management and successful delivery of complex projects or packages of projects within the Thames Water Framework.
Monitoring the progress of offsite and onsite operations, ensuring they are within deadlines and budget limitations.
Managing health and safety, design, customer relations, quality, environmental impact, programme, and cost/value during both pre-production and production phases.
Cultivating a positive team culture and environment on projects to promote well-being and improve performance.
Skills and Experience of a Project Manager:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Experience in a project management role for water-based projects or similar projects.
Knowledge of contract administration.
Experience in both pre-production and production project management.
A minimum of HNC qualification in a manufacturing or construction subject (desirable).
It would be advantageous if you also have:
BIM/digital experience.
Experience in a similar role for a tier 1 contractor.
Excellent team leadership skills, with a focus on people management, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational capabilities.
