This client is experiencing substantial growth and are an industry leading business and are looking for a Contract Maintenance Planner.
The Person:

Minimum of HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline

Knowledge of PM work orders system (SAP preferred)

Good knowledge of maintenance, planning and scheduling processes
The Role:

You will manage the Planning section of the Maintenance department.

Develop and coordinate maintenance plans, including routine and preventive interventions, shutdowns, related schedules and resources, skills and materials needed to maintain assets and equipment to avoid or minimise disruptions in production.

Manage and develop the site PM system.

Support on the continues improvement activity (QC stories, Kaizens, etc).

Support in RCA’s, BDA’s and other problem-solving tools.

Collaborate with Production Planners/Production Engineers to obtain production schedules, identify equipment involved and plan for resources and materials for interventions.

Responsible for planning, execution and reporting of Asset Care Days, Shutdown periods and other planned maintenance activities. Also accountable for the continues improvement of the planning activity.

A confident and professional manner, coupled with excellent communication skills, to ensure clarity in all situations and to effectively influence.
The rate per hour will be £34.00ph
This role is working a Monday to Friday days pattern.
