Job Role: Estimator
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 + Car Allowance (£400 PCM)
Location: Newark/Doncaster (Hybrid working available)
Duration: Permanent contract
Barker Ross are currently seeking a highly skilled and detailed-oriented Estimator to join a fantastic company within the Ground Engineering industry. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing projects costs and providing cost estimates to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and a keen eye for detail.
The Job Role:
Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager.
Preparation of tender designs and estimates for piled retaining walls.
Securing profitable work of strategic benefit to the department and group.
Develop and enhance client relations from enquiry stage to point of order and beyond.

Competent user of Microsoft Office
Willing to travel across the UK to attend site visits.
Qualifications and Experience:
Full UK clean driving license
Minimum 2 years' experience in Ground Investigation/ Ground Engineering/Geotechnical setting.
Previous pricing experience preferred but not essential.
Previous design experience preferred but not essential.
