We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Area Sales Manager covering the Thames and Oxford areas, to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client are a well-established engineering company specialising in rotating and industrial pump equipment.
Responsibilities of the Technical Area Sales Manager
Grow profitable sales and achieve company sales targets.
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
Business development, identifying new accounts and emerging markets.
Prepare and deliver bids.
Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Forecast current and future sales opportunities.
Compile reports.
Requirements for a Successful Technical Area Sales Manager
Degree in Mechanical/Process Engineering.
Proven Sales experience within the pump or rotating equipment industry.
Strong engineering and technical knowledge.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
Keen attention to detail.

Summary of the Technical Area Sales Manager role
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
Location: Remote, covering the M4, Oxford and Thames
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 1:30pm
