A chef who is willing to work in a care home through our agency with the following qualifications and knowledge:
Health and Safety
Food Hygiene
Fluids and Nutrition
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Food preperation and cooking
Experience of working with fresh seasonal food
Be aware of the legal requirements of Health and Safety legislation
Hospitality and Catering Desirable knowledge
You will need to:
Ensure all food prep meets food hygeiene standards
Ensure safe methods are always used
Ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively
Have an understanding of epathy with elderly
Be able to take lead when necessary and be a team player
Physically and mentally demanding environment
