What will you do?
Due to internal promotion, we have a great opportunity for the right person to join our well-established client as a Contracts Manager with responsibility for Projects & Services in the South region.
The role will particularly suit someone with experience in both a pre and post contract environment who is comfortable owning projects end to end.
A primary focus of this role will be negotiation of customer terms and conditions to ensure commercial risk is understood, mitigated and managed. Acting as a trusted commercial advisor you will work with Legal, Procurement, Sales and Tendering to provide comprehensive commercial guidance to the team. You will take responsibility to ensure that the Company Policies and Procedures are understood and followed.
As a Contracts Manager, you will also hold responsibility post contract - providing commercial governance across your project portfolio, driving revenues and profitability, minimising risk & debt to ensure we deliver to the highest possible standard.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Qualified to degree level in relevant discipline (Law, Quantity Surveying or Supply Chain management)
Solid years of experience drafting, negotiating and advising on Contractual agreements.
Proactively drive career and personal development, including professional certification. Membership of WCC or additional professional membership would be advantageous!
Passionate about all things commercial with numerical skills and a drive to apply these in a business environment.
Able to inspire and manage change in an ever-evolving environment.
Fluency in English is a must (written and verbal)
