Our client currently requires commercial support on delivering a construction project. To be suitable for this role you will have to be able to demonstrate experience of working in a large principal contractor environment. The contract will run for approximately 12 months.
Responsibilities:

Conducting detailed cost analysis and risk assessments for construction subcontract packages.

Contract Administration

Managing and negotiating contracts efficiently

Raising application for payments

Collaborating closely with project manager to ensure cost-effectiveness

Commercial forecasting, CVR’s,

Project Status Reports
Candidate requirements:
-
Be a confident and reliable Quantity Surveyor who can "own" the commercial function of the project

To be based on site

Extensive experience in a construction experience including MEP
-
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent

Possess strong numeracy and report writing skills
-
Experience working for large principal construction and civil engineering contractors
