As we prepare for our next phase of growth and innovation, we have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Grocery Account Executive to join our Grocery Team based in Park Royal.
The Role:
You will play a crucial part in the grocery sales team, supporting with running the accounts and growing the grocery business. This is a dynamic and exciting role that will offer new challenges and variety on a daily basis. It is an excellent first stepping stone to unlocking a promising career path in FMCG account management.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Manage the field sales program – coordinate with account managers and sales controller. Book in visits, track spend, coordinate feedback and analysis
Online – supporting team with online business strategy and share growth
Contribute to ad hoc creative tasks – winning new retailers, internal communication about grocery team news
Support on creation of sell in decks and brand updates
Monitor details of competitor and category activity and communicate internally to the cross functional team
Store visits – regular feedback and tracking of observations. Eg. compliance of current Wasabi range, competitor innovation and activity, instore activation, promotions
Collating and reporting grocery channel news
Own the promotional proposal and new line set up forms process
‘Monday’ critical path sales team coordination (NPD project management tool)
Maintain control docs – retailer product bible, team promo and shopper calendar, field sales calendar, risks and opps
Our Requirements:
Experience in FMCG preferable but not essential
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Attention to detail and sense of urgency
Analytical and competent with numbers
Ability to use data and insights to solve problems and identify opportunities.
You are comfortable with ambiguity, have a real ‘can do attitude’ and thirst for knowledge.
Ability and experience using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Team player, confident with great communication skills
Driving license required – will need to be regularly going out on store visits
