Job Title: Registered Manager
Responsible To: Operations Manager
Salary Range: £38,000+ (Dependent on qualifications, experience, registration & occupancy)
Position Type: Full-time (40 hours/week plus additional hours as needed)
Location: Selly Oak x1, Cotteridge x1
We are seeking 2 dedicated and experienced Registered Managers to lead a children's residential home. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of care for children and young people. Essential Qualifications:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or equivalent (as per Regulation 28 of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015)
Full driving licence and access to a vehicleEssential Experience:
Minimum 2 years working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years
Minimum 1 year supervising and managing professional staffKey Responsibilities:
Fulfil the role of Registered Manager as defined by the Care Standards Act
Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
Manage admissions, discharges, and care plans
Lead and support staff, ensuring regular appraisals and training
Monitor and manage budgets and expenditures
Maintain the home's environment, ensuring health and safety standards are met
Participate in the on-call systemProfile:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
Experience with adolescent and challenging behaviour
Reliable, trustworthy, with a good attendance record
