BDS are currently recruiting for a Retirement Housing Co-Ordinator in Morecambe
The post will be based at a retirement complex for older adults who live independently. We are looking for someone with a friendly and happy demeanour to be the first point of contact for the residents of the service.
Hours; 10-12 per week over 2 or 3 days which can be flexible.
Duration – 3-4 months initially with the option to apply on a permanent basis later in the year.
Salary- £14.26ph PAYE plus holiday pay
Main duties

Speaking with the residents daily

Signposting information on other services, in and around the area.

Checking the property for any repairs and reporting these as required,

Liaising with contractors
Experience in housing, support of older adults would be an advantage though not essential. Experience in a front facing customer position would be ideal and you will have good PC skills, be approachable and have good organisation skills. Full training will be provided and there will be a buddy manager to work with from a neighbouring scheme.
An enhanced DBS will be required.
