Residential Home Manager
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 DOE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, qualified candidate to join the team in one of our client's children's residential homes. 28 days annual leave, rising to 33 days with 5 years of service
Main Duties:

Manage a residential home ensuring efficient operation in accordance with relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the home's Statement of Purpose.

Involve in recruitment processes including vetting, interviewing, and inducting new employees.

Contribute to a comprehensive team training and development programme to ensure necessary skills and expertise to meet the needs of young people.

Support the team to ensure longevity and good organisation retention.

Liaise with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities to meet the care needs of new and existing children and young people.

Be accountable and take responsibility for liaising with regulatory organisations regarding home management.

Register with the regulator and uphold registration requirements and conditions.

Participate in an on-call system.

Perform other duties as required by operational managers or their authorised representatives.
Job Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or willingness to work towards the same.

Experience at a senior level in a Residential Children's home.

Full manual driving licence.
