Assistant Management Accountant
Purpose;
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance team at Whiteley.
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, this role will suit someone who wishes to gain more experience in a junior management accountant position. The role will work closely with all areas of the finance team and the sales teams for timesheet and margin queries and commission prep and queries.
The ideal candidate will possess strong excel skills, have an eye for detail, be comfortable with large sets of data and be able to quickly understand reconciliations and take on the responsibility to do their role. The candidate must also be comfortable communicating to people of all levels through various channels.
Responsibilities;
Assist in the production of monthly management accounts in accordance with the reporting timetable
Investigate any discrepancies in margin/adjustments
Maintaining Sixcel targets
Production of balance sheet reconciliations for Snr Acct sign off and C/F balance investigation and follow up with relevant teams
Being able to thoroughly understand various data sources system within the business and use them for query investigation
Continually review and improve processes and maintain the relevant process notes
Run all commission calculators and send out for approval to commissions timetable
Deal with all commission queries through the commissions inbox
Ad-hoc duties as requested by Senior Management Accountant
Support the wider management accounts team where required Requirements & Attributes;
