Job Description: Claims Handler in the Property Industry
Location: Watford
Working Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role:
We are currently assisting our client, a prominent company in the property industry, in recruiting a dedicated and skilled Claims Handler to join their Insurance Team. This position is vital in managing claims and ensuring efficient communication and coordination with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any queries they may have.
Accept, raise, and manage works orders.
Schedule appointments with residents and clients.
Collaborate with the Planning team to schedule operatives' work.
Work closely with surveyors and other Claims Handlers.
Liaise with operatives to ensure smooth workflow.
Keep client portals updated with the current status of all claims.
Maintain up-to-date records in internal systems regarding all claims.
Requirements:
GCSE Maths & English Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in a similar role and/or knowledge of the building industry is preferable (full training will be provided).
