Sales & Operations Manager
Location: Ashford, England
Working Hours: 39 hours/week, Permanent
Leave: 22 days of paid leave + bank holidays

Our client are a global company with over 300 employees and an annual turnover of £40 million, they specialise in batteries, battery packs, chargers, and lighting products for consumers and professionals. They are looking for a Sales & Operations Manager at their Ashford site of around twenty employees. Reporting to the UK Director, you will drive the commercial development strategy.
The Role
Strategic Development: Define company positioning, identify market trends, and find growth opportunities with the marketing team.
Account Management: Manage strategic accounts and assist in acquiring major accounts.
Commercial Planning: Develop and execute action plans with Sales Directors.
Performance Evaluation: Assess team performance, analyse KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
Reporting: Provide updates and reports to General Management.
Budget Management: Develop and monitor budgets with General Management and the Administrative and Financial Department.
Operational Management: Oversee site operations, ensure team development, and maintain financial profitability. Promote social dialogue and employee safety.
Service Coordination: Manage Commercial, Purchasing, Technical, Production, and Logistics services.
Continuous Improvement: Ensure adherence to internal processes and group policies.Candidate Profile:
Education: Master's in Business School or Technical Engineering.
Experience: 5-10 years in team management and/or sales, particularly in technical products.
Skills: Strong business acumen, IT tools proficiency, e-commerce, and numerical analysis. Strong organisational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Language: French is an asset.
Other: Knowledge of international trade rules and P&L monitoring
