We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client, a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have a background in a high volume manufacturing environment with knowledge of technical knowledge of production techniques, demonstrate understanding and application of APQP process and PSW submission requirements. and knowledge of customer quality and relevant quality and environmental standards and its application in the manufacturing process.
Main duties and responsibilities will include ensuring successful introduction of new products to meet project key dates, work together with other departments within business a daily basis ensuring supplier quality requirements are achieved, support project teams where new projects are being introduced ensuring pre production and production parts are delivered on time to the correct quality level, ensuring customer specific requirements are communicated and followed within the supply chain, develop with Group Purchasing Strategic Suppliers and Ensure those suppliers have current IATF accreditation, Monthly monitoring of suppliers performance and co-ordinating associated progress activities.
