Waking Night Support Worker - Physical disabilities and acquired brain injury

- Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
- Salary: £12.49 per hour plus benefits, paid induction, additional sleeping nights for £50 per night, overtime pays above 37.5 contracted hours
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis
- Shift patterns:10.00pm to 7am
- Employment type: Full time, permanent

We are looking for support workers who are calm, patient, resilient and provide consistent support.
As a waking night support worker, you’ll be part of an experienced staff team working within a busy and vibrant home where no two nights are the same.
Waking night support worker duties include:
- Safeguarding the people you will support while staying awake.
- Being attentive throughout your whole shift.
- Ensuring people you support and their families are treated with respect, dignity and equality.
- To embody SeeAbility’s values.
You’ll be part of a team that includes support from a positive behaviour support consultant. Your day-to-day management will come from an experienced, passionate leader who will work alongside you.

Who will you be supporting?
The team supports up to five people, who have a variety of health conditions from acquired brain injury, stroke, dementia and other physical disabilities. There are some people who have behaviours of concern, but you will be surrounded by a supportive team and will have training to be confident in providing the right support.

Training and Development
