Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Salary: £35,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday + Overtime
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team in the City of London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of their facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake and manage various general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, telecommunications, heating, carpentry, and decorating.

Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, handling basic repairs and maintenance requirements.

Inspect building structures, equipment, and assets, performing reactive and preventive maintenance.

Perform tasks and deliver services with the highest level of discretion, aiming for minimal disruption and inconvenience for guests and visitors.

Actively contribute to the comfort of guests and visitors.

Approach tasks and requests with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Handle basic repairs and maintenance; coordinate and oversee contractors and external providers, ensuring compliance with service agreements and procedures.

Install, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment, appliances, and systems.

Maintain and replace heating, air conditioning, and distribution systems as needed.

Liaise with and supervise contractors and external providers to carry out work activities.

Assist in record-keeping and maintain a daily log of repairs and maintenance of assets and equipment.

Respect Accor's Legionnaires' disease directive.

Champion the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste, etc.).

Actively contribute to the safety of people and property (ensuring safety exits remain clear of obstruction, etc.).

Identify areas of improvement within the range of operation, including risk awareness.

Undertake appropriate training to develop increased expertise in the area of work concerned.

Report stock levels.
