Hunter James Recruitment are assisting our client - a well-established organisation with their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy facility in Swindon
The Role:

Responsible for reconciling and monitoring payments and receipts and maintaining ledgers

Updating information to SAGE
-
Reviewing ledgers to ensure compliance at all times
-
Processing supplier invoices to meet credit terms and providing regular reconciliations with statements

Produce weekly reports to highlight anomalies or discrepancies

Dealing with petty cash
-
Disbursement analysis
-
Closing files
-
P&Ls and VAT returns
-
Assisting with the preparation of month end, and year end accounts
-
Ad hoc general administrative support
The Candidate:
-
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar accounts assistant role
-
Experience of Sage Line is preferred
-
Good Administrative and Communication skills
In Return we are offer a salary of £28K to £30K plus great company benefits
