Looking for the right candidate to work within a local non threat level prison with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 7:30am to 5:30pm
The chef de partie must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 7 years and have a clean criminal background and a valid DBS along with Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2
The role will be handling an effective & efficient food production in line with recipe sheets
Full Knowledge of all menu items served
Management of food levels throughout all service periods
Maintenance of food quality and brand standards
Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health & safety standards in line with Aramark requirements and identity any anomalies and incidents
Capturing and recording all volumes consumed and overproduction
Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists
Discussing ideas and improvements with the line manager
Act as a trainer/coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks
Undertake relevant training as required
Chefs may be occasionally be required to undertake ad hoc back of house and front of house duties in line with business requirements
Must have a DBS, long sleeve Chef Jackets must be worn and non slip shoes
