Job Purpose:
Monitor, assess, and report on the quality of products and processes to ensure that manufacturing operations are performed correctly and in accordance with required standards and specifications. Engage in problem-solving and collaborate with all functional areas to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented. Review, improve, design, and implement standard operating procedures and processes.
Key Accountabilities:

Enhance compliance and quality of products/services.

Monitor, test, and report on product and process quality, ensuring that manufacturing processes are executed correctly, and identifying non-conformances and improvement opportunities.

Review, improve, design, and implement standard operating procedures and processes to ensure that products meet required specifications and customer expectations.

Perform root cause analysis, problem-solving, and implement correction and corrective actions.

Initiate, recommend, and deliver solutions for improvement opportunities.

Support the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies within the Business Unit.

Drive the closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in a timely manner, collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Foster a culture of Zero Non-Conformance and Right-First-Time using recognized techniques.

Conduct internal and external quality and compliance audits.
-
Enhance customer satisfaction and progressively improve Business Unit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Provide quality data and reports in a timely manner.

Maintain relevant quality documentation.
-
Raise corrective action requests and manage their timely close-out with relevant parties.
Expertise:
Education:
-
Minimum HNC Qualified in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering.
-
Minimum Quality Management Diploma.
-
Trained in Root Cause Analysis techniques.
-
Trained Internal Auditor (Lead Auditor is beneficial).
-
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001.
-
Knowledge of ISO 29001 (beneficial).
Experience:
-
Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.

Ability to understand and interpret customer specifications.
-
Capable of identifying and resolving problems using a structured and data-driven approach.

Training/experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is beneficial.

Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
-
Proficiency in measurement, analysis, or continuous improvement tools.

Practitioner of Root Cause and Corrective Action techniques using recognized methodologies.

Proficient with PC and capable user of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.

Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
