Quality Assurance Manager | London
Our client, a leading main contractor, are currently seeking a QA Manager to be based in their head office in London (City) to oversee sites across greater London and home counties.
The QA manager will effectively coordinate the Quality and Environmental function by ensuring systems, processes and standards are not only maintained but also developed, implemented and improved. To allow for flexibility, the role will be based in our London office but will involve regular visits to our sites across the UK.
The ideal candidate:
• A degree in Construction Engineering/Construction Management or similar
• Good understanding of the lifecycle of a large construction project, ideally with a Main Contractor
• Excellent IT skills with a knowledge of construction engineering technology
• Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and approachable
• Organised and able to prioritise
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• A genuine interest in and understanding of quality and environmental issues
• Proven ability to provide support, guidance and training when needed.
• Strong evidence of delivering results
• Hands-on, able to work in detail and also take a strategic overview
• Willing to learn new techniques and take on additional projects
