A successful and growing technology business require an Indirect Category Buyer. The role would suit an indirect generalist comfortable with both strategic and operational tasks with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Hybrid working and CIPS sponsorship available, if desired.
The Indirect Category Buyer will work within an Indirect Procurement team covering all indirect areas of spend. Key focuses of the role will be around; tendering, stakeholder management, and supplier onboarding and due diligence.
Specific duties of the Indirect Category Buyer include:
Implementation of procurement strategy
Cradle-to-grave management of the tender process
Approve and onboard new suppliers
Maintain and progress rebates setup in supplier agreements
Management and maintenance of the contract management database
Supplier Management - onboard, drive collaboration, ensure SLAs are met, mitigate risk etc.
Stakeholder engagement - corporate services, legal, facilities etc.
Indirect Category Buyer applicants should meet the following criteria:
Previous indirect or services based procurement expertise
Prior exposure to; FM (facilities, HSE, security) L&D/HR, corporate services, Logistics is advantageous
Comfortable with operational and strategic tasks
A positive out-going, relationship builder
Influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable with hybrid working
