Our client is a reputable specialist scaffolding contractor, who are based in Sutton. They operate across London and have excellent relationships with their long lasting clients, from offering a great service. Our client now has a requirement for an office manager/ Administrator, who will take over from a long term employee who worked 3 days a week. The opportunity may offer more hours for the right individual should there be a requirememnt.

To undertake all office administration duties

Handle administrative requests and queries from senior management.

Ensure that our client keeps compliant with all industry and HSE accreditations.

Manage, maintain and arrange the servicing and inspection of all our clients’ vehicles.

Ensure that all company primary staff are trained to suitable CISRS standards and arrange these for the team.

Liaise with our clients H&S Advisor regarding changes to industry specific legislation standard and ensure that toolbox talks are carried out monthly.

Act as the company’s Sentinel Coordinator and office manager.

Monitor the Sentinel database.

Develop and maintain a filing system.

Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.

Arrange drug and alcohol tests along with staff.

Undertake quarterly review of Rail Group and company standards and inform the Director of changes to the management systems.

Monitor Rail industry and Sentinel communications, ensuring relevant alerts and Bulletins are communicated to the company Director and issued out to primary sponsored staff.

Monitor working hours of primary staff when undertaking work on railways, to ensure that accidents are prevented.

Arrange necessary PPE for new started joining the company.
Qualification & Experience
- Knowledge of working with Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
