The Role:
To provide Accounting Clerk Duties within team. To ensure Financial Data attached to all projects is input, managed, organised and headlines reported to line manager to oversee that budgets are adhered to and monitored.
Responsibilities:
To accurately check all order confirmations for projects against the master schedule
Input the figures into the Excel cost tracking document per project – Accuracy of this document is essential
To check and verify the accuracy of invoices related to orders placed by the team for Project based works
Send all invoices for payment once ascertained that they are correct, keeping an accurate filing system of Invoices
Update the Head of weekly with overall project costs once costs are all in to ensure projects are kept within specified budget
Updating of Master Costing Spreadsheets for each Project Scheme to ensure they are kept current and up to date
Occasional and if required - Inputting data into Costing spreadsheets
General day to day office duties – including cleaning of the office, opening post, taking deliveries and unpacking, ordering Stationery and office supplies
Answering the telephone and taking messages if requiredAbout you:
Experience in a similar role
Good attention to detail
Accuracy with figures
It would be ideal if you have an AAT qualification
Self-driven and motivated to achieve specific goals within the roleThis is a Part-time onsite role working 16 hours a week, Monday and Tuesday ideally, or could be flexible Tuesday and Wednesday. This role offers a salary of £13,220 (this is the Pro rata salary).
