I’m currently recruiting an exciting role for someone to manage the commercial relationship with a major Automotive OEM for their specific product group. The business I’m recruiting for is a major tier one supplier in the automotive sector and is experiencing significant growth across various product groups.
Your skills and responsibilities will include:
- Developing long-term partnerships with key customer personnel.
- Establish and maintain commercial relationships with customers.
- Guarantees the level of profitability of the programme, in close cooperation with the Programme Manager.
- Prepares offers for all technical changes.
- Makes sure that agreements are found with the customer before change implementation and documents all sales aspects regarding these changes.
- Prepares business cases in collaboration with Business Controlling, gets internal approval and negotiates prices with the customer.
- To establish the business’ reputation as market and innovation leader for long-term business growth.
Your profile:
- Automotive industry experience, ideally working with JLR.
- Commercial experience of managing relationships with major customers.
- Experience of compression moulding, injection moulding, trim, or plastics technologies would be beneficial.
- Analytical, with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
