Service Support Officer

Deliver a support service in the Home Improvement Agency which is part of Public Protection and Licensing to agreed standards to maximise service quality and continuity.
Office based 5 days per week - Monday to Friday 9 - 5 with some flexibility regards start and finish time.
To be the responsible officer for managing the Handy Person Service - dealing with customer enquiries via email or phone -arranging appointments in line with our grant policy and providing signposting for enquiries that are not appropriate for our service
To raise purchase orders and support the team with payments including liaison with suppliers. Strong IT Skills with experience of finance.
To screen referrals from Occupational Therapists for disability grants and from residents and or other professional for discretionary grants in line with our policy
To undertake additional duties including for example checking the land Registry to determine property ownership
