Assistant Retail Manager
£35,000 to £40,000
Based near Sevenoaks
Working hours – Monday to Saturday 8.30 to 5.45 & Sunday 9.45 to 5.00 – working 4 days a week with alternate weekends.
Our client based near Sevenoaks are looking to recruit an Assistant Retail Manager to join their growing business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Department Manager and assisting with the day to day running of the area.
The department sells a variety of different products & brands so someone with experience working with several different products would be advantageous.
Job role:

Working alongside & assisting the manager with the daily running of the department

Assisting customers with any queries or questions

Unpacking and displaying stock within department

Serving customers and providing an excellent level of customer service

Ensuring department is keep clean and tidy

Staff rotas
-
Managing staff within department
-
Ensuring health and safety is always adhered to on the shop floor

Assisting with merchandising within department
Skills/Experience needed:
-
Previous experience within retail at a supervisory level is essential – this could be a Team Leader, Assistant Manager or someone looking to make a sideways move

Excellent communicator

Experience working with a range of different products and brands

Driving licence with own car – this is due to location
