We have a fantastic opportunity for a Communications and Events Co-ordinator to help deliver the Employee Health & Well-Being strategy to the UK workforce of one of the world's most broadly-based healthcare companies.
Starting immediately this is an ongoing full-time temporary role working Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week over 5 days each week with 3 of these days being office-based. This role is paying £15.00 per hour PAYE.
This role is based in Leeds and will also involve travel to a site in Blackpool one day each month.
The role of Well-being and Communications Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the health and well-being initiatives across UK sites and the wider EHW Cluster, as part of a multicultural team spread across several EMEA countries. This role involves creating and coordinating internal communications, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting the health and well-being resources and programmes. The ideal candidate should have a passion for well-being and possess strong communication skills.

The role will primarily involve:
· Internal Communication:
· Develop and implement internal communication strategies to promote health and well-being initiatives and maximise our reach to our employee populations; on-site (office and manufacturing), working from home and field-based teams
· Create engaging digital content for internal newsletters, emails, social media posts and intranet updates
· Coordinate with external design teams to produce visually appealing communication materials and ensuring alignment
with corporate branding.
· Stakeholder Engagement (leaders and employees):
· Act as a local point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding well-being programs and resources.
· Host/co-host on-site/online sessions/events to increase awareness and engagement in health & well-being resources
and services.
· Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops, and webinars to engage employees in well-being activities.
· Gather and analyse feedback from employees to improve and tailor well-being initiatives.
· Promotion of Well-being Resources:
· Regularly update and maintain the UK EHW SharePoint page, ensuring it aligns with the latest brand guidelines and
standards.
· Assist in the development and dissemination of health and well-being materials, including guides, brochures, and
online content.
· Promote well-being programmes and resources through various communication channels: emails, Viva Engage/
Yammer posts, newsletters, plasma screens, town-halls, etc.
· Programme Coordination:
· Support the logistical planning and execution of on-site/online health and well-being events and activities.
· Maintain a calendar of well-being events and ensure timely communication to employees.
· Monitor and report on the participation and impact of well-being programs.
· Other tasks assigned as needed by the business to support day to day operations.
Qualifications:
· Graduate with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Health Promotion, or a related field.
· Preferably with one or two years' experience in a similar role or having undertaken similar responsibilities.
· Demonstrated passion for health and well-being.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organisational and project management abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with communication platforms
(e.g., email marketing tools, SharePoint, Viva Engage/Yammer).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and engagement.
· Experience in internal communications or health promotion
· Knowledge of well-being practices and resources.
