About the role
You'll take ownership for managing and empowering the staff team within the scheme on a day-to-day basis to ensure that they consistently deliver exceptional support to our eight service users who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and some challenging behaviour. You will be a strong, confident and enthusiastic leader with high and firm expectations to motivate and provide guidance to your team as they support each individual to become more independent, and where possible move them on into the community. You will be involved in line management of staff, holding regular supervisions and team meetings to ensure that the support provided is in line with the agreed support plans/ risk assessments whilst developing the service.
You will be responsible for managing the scheme rota and budgets and recruitment and induction of new staff. This role may also require managerial shifts covering the weekend where necessary to ensure full and consistent cover of all shifts.
