Call Handler
This role is Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm based in central Swindon
Specific job duties of a taxi office dispatcher include:
- Receiving and managing customer requests for taxi service
- Assigning taxis to customers based on location and availability
- Communicating with drivers to ensure that they are aware of pick-up locations and customer needs please note 90% of communication is via telephone
- Monitoring the location of taxis to ensure that they are on schedule and on route to pick up customers
- Managing driver schedules and shift assignments
- Resolving customer queries and issues via telephone and email
- Maintaining accurate records of customer requests and taxi assignments on the booking system.
- Providing information and assistance to customers regarding fares, routes, and other related topics.
Call Handler Skills required;
- Excellent customer service experience
- Good microsoft office skills including microsoft outlook
- Data entry skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner
