As a Lead Project Manager it will be your responsibility to fully integrate, optimize and manage an allocated programme of work and ensure delivery of projects to agreed plan, ensuring that all schemes are delivered in accordance with relevant Cadent practice and procedures and support the Delivery Vehicles always operating to the highest Safety, Health and Environmental standards.

Lead and embed positive safety culture and process safety within team to improve collective safety performance ensuring adherence to company policy, aims and objectives.
Lead team to manage and deliver a programme of projects safely to time, cost and specification within governance requirements including project initiation documents, project execution plans and management of plans, schedule, Cadent resources, budgets, quality and risks.
Challenge project teams to ensure project scope, designs and delivery solutions are innovative, efficient, fit for purpose and prevent creep.
Provide accurate and timely monthly project status reports covering SHE performance, milestone progress, risk management, current and forecast financial performance to ensure robust tracking and reporting against the long term capital plan.
Ensure that Project Engineers are robustly positioned commercially on scheme delivery, and coordinate and prioritise commercial / contractual support systems in place.
Undertake the role of NEC Project Manager on behalf of Cadent through the contractual arrangements with our framework supply chain partners.

Drive understanding of Regulatory requirements (RIIO) into project teams. Skills and Experience
Degree (or equivalent) or relevant experience
Membership of Professional Body
APM Project Management Qualification (desirable)
Knowledge of Cadent Procedures for delivering projects
Commercial Acumen
Experience in Contract Management
Expert in Project Management
Advanced Process Excellence
SHESQ Management
Stakeholder Management
Engineering Competency
Formal Safety Qualifications would be an advantage, such as IOSH or NEBOSH
As this is a Leadership role, experience Managing people would be advantageous
