Join Howdens as an IT Commercial Analyst based at our office in Brackmills Business Park, Northampton with some home working. As a thriving FTSE 100 business, you will effectively provide support to the IT Commercial function, including the creation of all IT purchase orders for goods and services.
As an IT Commercial Analyst you will support the drive for increased visibility and control of IT discretionary spend, while proactively monitoring contracts and facilitating renewals. Reporting directly to the IT Commercial Manager you will provide support for the Infrastructure financial forecasts which will involve key stakeholder reviews to capture forecasting changes and management reporting of forecast fluctuations.
You will be an excellent communicator who builds relationships confidently as you work with the wider team, and third-party suppliers to ensure procurement processes are used to maximise return on the IT budget. Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail you will assist with the on-going maintenance of the IS contracts database, and the renewal of contracts and Management Information reporting. You will be adaptive in your approach with the ability to be keep abreast of organisational changes, Senior Management and of the company organisational structure.

What we need from you
- Previous experience of working with IT Procurement and Contract Management is preferred.
- IS literate, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages essential.
- Knowledge of SAP Financials preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail and rigorous retention of auditable documents and records.
- Communicating effectively both verbal and written.
- Responsible attitude to following procedures.
- Proactive work ethic, taking action and anticipating opportunities
- Ability to work without supervision to ensure business objectives are achieved.
