OVERVIEW
This is a great opportunity to join an exciting well-established company, with proven growth potential, at the start of their new retail Sales initiative.
Due to continued success in their development of the UK Retail sector, My Client looking to recruit an additional sales person (Area Manager) to acquire new and manage existing accounts in the retail/convenience sector, located in East Anglia primarily Suffolk, Cambs, Essex and into North East London and is currently one of their most productive areas. The role is a good mixture of servicing existing customers (60pct) and developing new (40pct). This is a solutions sales role where you will be working over several categories selling into a mix of independent retail convenience stores, decision makers/franchisees at independent symbol groups, such as Nisa, Londis, Spar, Best one and independently managed forecourts and stores within groups, such as MFG and Euro Garages.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

GENERAL SUMMARY:
You will be accountable for winning profitable new business through new account acquisition and the initial on-boarding to maximize customer retention. This is an exciting role that would suit someone who is result driven, dynamic with the ability to open doors and inspire customers.
The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sellingmy clients non-food range into our Retail customers

Achieving new business within both sectors through direct prospecting

Using customer data to develop and grow customer turnover to achieve sales targets

Grow share of wallet / category development within existing customer base, though regular visits to customers to identify further sales opportunities and selling across our range

Hitting your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the team’s goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability

Work closely with Sales executives to maintain customer retention on your area

Engage internal and external contacts
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Previous Sales or Account management experience required, in the FMCG Sector
Education: GCSE or Equivalent
Strong leadership, excellent communication and analytical skills.
Self-Management and a get up and go attitude.
Full UK driving license
