Part Time Bookkeeper
Hourly rate: £16 - £18 per hour
Working Hours: 20 - 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible on days and hybrid working)
Job Overview:
Lloyd Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established, family run business in Brighton.
Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Managing daily income and expenditure
- Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations
- Preparing VAT Returns and CIS Monthly Returns
- Handling weekly PAYE payroll and pension administration
- Working up to trial balance level and managing journals
Required Experience:
- Proficiency with Sage Online Accounting/Payroll or Sage 50 Accounts/Sage 50 Payroll desirable
- Previous experience with accounts / bookkeeping in the building / construction industry is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle financial discrepancies
