Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Admin Assistant to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. The Admin Assistant will be responsible for supporting the purchasing, maintenance and defence teams.

- Competitive salary up to £25,000 p.a.
Duties of the Admin Assistant:

Issue enquiries and raise purchase orders as instructed

Issue and expedite orders to ensure services and supplies arrive in a timely manner

Manage the goods receipt process and liaise with suppliers and accounts team to resolve invoice queries.

Update and publish metrics (order value, maintenance budget, outstanding balance etc.)

Ensure risk assessments / method statements are received and circulated prior to contractors arriving onsite.

Maintain and update the Shire preventative maintenance system.

Process new supplier application forms

To provide general administrative support to the Maintenance, Purchasing and Defence teams
The successful candidate for the Admin Assistants position will have the following experience:

2 – 5 year’s experience working within Administration/Coordinating (Essential)

Experience within a Manufacturing/Technical Engineering environment (Essential)

General Knowledge of ERP/TPM Systems (Desirable)
