Junior Graphic Designer

Your ideas and initiative will help win clients and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations. You’ll be a team player with excellent communication skills to helping us to hit deadlines, stick to budgets and produce high quality design.

Key Responsibilities

Creating presentations and mock-ups, offering multiple design concepts and being able to clearly explain your design decisions
Understanding how budget affects the design possibilities, making sure client gets value for money without exceeding those limitations
Attending internal meetings in person and online, being knowledgeable and answering any relevant client questions
Working closely with Account Management and Production teams to implement amends on time and proactively communicating useful information
Keeping up to date with trends and sharing ideas within the Digital + Design team
Prioritising workload and able to juggle multiple projects at one time
Manage time effectively and ensure timesheets, WIP schedules and other admin are filled out correctly
Representing Yellow Jersey PR at external events e.g. design conferences, awards, client lunches etc

Your Skill Set

Good time management, clear communication and multitasking capabilities are essential as well as positive attitude to all tasks. You’ll consistently and effectively produce high quality designs and aim to make a lasting impression on our clients and the wider team at Yellow Jersey PR.

Must be able to provide a portfolio/examples of recent work
A degree in graphic design or similar
Possess working knowledge and understanding of the various industry standard creative tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience in presentation design, Premiere Pro and After Affects would be beneficial
Thrive on multi-tasking across numerous on-going projects, whilst working in a fast-paced and busy environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be highly driven and self-motivated, possessing a “can do” team attitude

Location

Tunbridge Wells or surrounding area, but happy to work in London regularly
