Job Description

Our client in Haslingden is looking to recruit a 7.5 Tonne Driver to work out of their manufacturing and distribution site

The work will involve:

Delivery of Furniture to clients in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
Working with another driver or drivers mate
Unloading vehicles at each drop
Helping with taking furniture into customers premises and laying out to a site plan
Doing basic assembly duties where needed
Heavy lifting

The working times and pay:

Monday to Friday
03:00-04:00 starts
£13.50 p/h initially, reviewed at 3 months for potential increase
Weekend work on very rare occasions
Overtime paid at x 1.25 over 40 hours and any weekend work x 1.5
Shift length can vary dependant on route, traffic and number of drops

Experience/Qualifications Needed:

7.5 Tonne (CAT C1) Licence
CPC
Digi-Tacho
No more than 6 points due to insurance purposes
Candidates need to be physically fit due to the nature of the role and the goods
