C# Software Developer (WPF)

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced C# software developer with strong WPF to join our clients innovative development team within one of the UK's largest privately owned and award winning independent tour operators.

Our client has built and developed from the ground upwards its own pioneering travel system, this is used to support sales and Back Office processes, built using SQL Server and C#/VB.NET or HTML/JavaScript. It allows customers to create a seamless bespoke holiday with a travel specialist and everything from payment to a bespoke itinerary is handled by this unique system.

Responsibilities:

You will be helping the IT Team to continue to evolve by embracing the latest technologies, best practice and ways of working. You'll also be responsible for the complete life cycle from database design through to the implementation, debugging and testing of n-tier applications based on Microsoft .NET technology with a focus on B2B communication with external suppliers via SOAP and RESTful web services. You will be interpreting a variety of interesting client requirements and producing high quality end to end solutions, often within a short time-frame in a fast moving, fun and creative industry.

Hybrid working with 2 days in the office. Nearest mainline station is London Bridge

5 years - XAML - based UI (eg WPF, UWP, WinUI)
SQL Server/Transact-SQL
Git (or other distributed source code control)

Excellent communication skills
