Location: Global / Multiple Clients

Job Purpose: As the Lead PMO, you will be responsible for managing the Project Management Office across multiple clients in a diverse range of industries. This role involves leading the successful delivery of projects and programs for clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives while adhering to best practices in project governance. You will work closely with client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Multi-Client Program Management: Oversee the project portfolio across various clients, managing the complexities of working with multiple stakeholders, industries, and business requirements. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality projects that align with each client’s strategic goals.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project progress, risks, and issues. Develop strong, trusted relationships to understand client needs and ensure satisfaction.
Governance and Compliance: Establish and implement governance frameworks for each client, tailored to their specific requirements. Ensure projects comply with both the consultancy's and clients' standards for risk management, governance, and compliance.
Team Leadership: Lead a distributed team of project managers and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure effective delivery across multiple engagements. Foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the PMO.
Resource and Capacity Management: Ensure optimal resource allocation across various projects, balancing internal consultancy resources and client-specific needs. Monitor capacity to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Tool and Process Implementation: Lead the adoption and customization of ERP tools such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring seamless integration into client environments to support project execution and reporting.
Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Establish standardized project reporting for each client, ensuring timely updates on project status, KPIs, and budget performance. Drive improvements in reporting consistency and accuracy.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements across the PMO function to enhance efficiency, drive innovation, and ensure consistent value delivery for clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

Extensive experience (10+ years) in project management and PMO roles, with a focus on managing complex, multi-client engagements across different industries.
Demonstrated experience working within manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries is a bonus.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable.
Proven ability to manage project portfolios across multiple clients, balancing priorities, resources, and expectations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging at the senior executive level.
Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to guide diverse project teams across different client engagements.
Knowledge of project governance, resource management, and risk mitigation techniques.

Adaptability and agility in working across different client environments.
Strong business acumen and understanding of how project delivery impacts client success.
Experience in consultancy or professional services environments is preferred.
